Here are the articles I reprinted:
Hope you guys are enjoying your week! I have my usual reprinted articles for you. Please also check out my recent article on Comic Frontline entitled "Buffy the Vampire Slayer: One of the Most Influential Shows EVER." It was a lot of fun to write and was done in the spirit of the Buffy Challenge from Dark Horse Comics that Comic Frontline accepted and COMPLETED! I'm also currently still fan-girl squealing after receiving an #FF from Sarah Michelle Gellar's official twitter. And if you don't know who that is... please watch Buffy! Here are the articles I reprinted: Barbarian #4 Review "The very successful third issue of Barbarian is ruined slightly by this fourth issue. The story is solid, if slightly rushed. The art is only average, but the tone and origins crafted in the third issue are wasted in this final chapter, which could have been constructed differently. It's not bad, but pales so much in comparison to the third by trying to connect with it and fails worse than it would have without the third issue coming out as good as it did. It finally creates a very entertaining and coherent battle that made the final chapter satisfying, even if it did not offer as many new elements as the third issue." The Creator of the Joker Passes "The creator of the Clown Prince of Crime - as well as comic book historian and creator's rights advocate – Jerry Robinson, passed away at the age of 89 on December 7th, 2011. He began working on Batman with creator Bob Kane and not only created Batman's most famous enemy, but also co-created Robin and influenced the creation of both Harvey "Two-Face" Dent and Alfred Pennyworth, Batman's most trusted ally and butler." David Kot Interviews Comic Maven Nicole D'Andria "I was recently interviewed by David Kot, the founder of Face Value Comics, as a sweet thank you for an interview I did of him about his comic book - the first ever to feature an autistic protagonist. Without further ado, see what I think about comics and learn a little more about what I do."
