It's almost that time again people... it's almost time for me to announce the picks for the best/worst comic book covers of February 2015. On Comic Frontline I posted another addition of Kickstart the Week featuring Lil' Ninja #1. I also wrote about the upcoming The Spirit series being released by Dynamite Entertainment and written by Matt Wagner!

This week I debuted my new feature Kickstart the Week which featured Time Stop #1! This new feature is to lend a hand to creators trying to get their work funded through Kickstarter. It includes not only information about the project but interviews with the creative team. I hope you enjoy it. The feature went over so well I will be posting another this Monday! If you have a Kickstarter you are interested in having me spotlight in the future and would be interested in an interview as well, please let me know.

"After the previous issue of Batman and Robin dedicated its entirety to explaining the Absence’s origin, this issue gets back to the action and our heroes.  The story is still great and the artwork has unfortunately remained horrendous, but has its moments."

I am planning on premiering a new feature called "Kickstart the Week" on Comic Frontline this Monday so be on the look out for that. 

Also, since my new monthly "Best/Worst Comic Book Covers" feature was a lot of fun to list, I've already started working on the February edition. "Cassandra Cain is back! That name is enough for a lot of the former Batgirl’s fans to feverishly grab up this issue, but to be warned Cassandra is not in the issue enough for a reader just interested in her to be satisfied. There is enough of an enticing epilogue and nice artwork to have others happily pleased with this well-crafted epilogue to the “Hit List” storyline. You can still skip it and you will not be missing a piece of the plot, but you will miss out on a lot of other things."

"Princeless continues to be charming it's way into my heart with a few more hiccups than the last issue – but it still has a clever ingenuity about it, good humor and heart. As well as a sword-wielding and pissed-off princess atop her mighty mentally-defunct fire-breathing dragon. But in the over-arching story, this issue is not relevant and wastes time this mini-series needs."

"Writer’s block sucks. Especially for Willard Penn, a comic book writer and artist whose comic book starring the Batman-looking-for-love Dark Hour is at a standstill.  And things are about to get a lot more complicated."

I also updated the second part of the Comic Book Awards on Entertainment Fuse since I finally found what I believe is the best ongoing comic book series of 2014. In related news, Nailbiter will be crossing over with Hack/Slash. There will be blood!
