Panel Piracy: Asking for a Different Kind of Pirate and Scanner
"Try to ask a pirate or scanner to stop doing what they do is like asking me to stop collecting comic books: it’s never going to happen. Every letter criticizing pirates or scanners never hurts them. If the legality or morality of their actions really get to them, it will be their conscious, not an article, making them stop. Critical articles sometimes even fuel them on to become modern day Robin Hoods who give consumers a big corporation like DC or Marvel’s product. But those modern day robin hoods are starting to become more and more unstable. Which is why I’m asking for a different kind of pirate and scanner: a pirate who pays back and a scanner who promotes others rather than exploits them."
