Archie Comics Co-CEO Accused of Sexual Harassment
"According to The New York Daily News Nancy Silberkleit, the co-CEO of Archie Comics, is being accused of gender discrimination by five of her male employees. Their reports say Silberkleit has been calling her male employees “penis” rather than calling them by their names. The lawyer representing Silberkleit is trying to get the case thrown out on the grounds that white males aren’t a 'protected class.'"
Batman Eternal Features the Return of Stephanie Brown!
"Finally. Finally, after years of begging for Stephanie Brown, former Batgirl and Robin, to return to comic books, our bitching (OK, it was mostly my bitching) has been answered. Stephanie Brown will be returning in the newest Batman series, Batman Eternal, along with several other familiar faces this spring 2014!"
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 Volume 1 Review
"Inspired by the Buffy Challenge, I’ve been enjoying some of the Buffy comics. Specifically, the very first season after Buffy went off the air and into the comic book panels. For those not in the know, when Buffy the Vampire Slayer was called off after season 7 on TV because Sara Michelle Gellar was done with the role of Buffy and talked to writer Joss Whedon about it, the story continued with an eighth and ninth season in comic books. Issue one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10 just came out on March 19th. Now, let’s take a look back at the first volume of Buffy, which, in total, collects the first ten issues, over three hundred pages, of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season Eight and has a cover gallery, sketches and creator biographies."
Celebrating "The Dark Knight" Rises Day
"The highly anticipated final installment of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, releases in theaters (and IMAX) on July 20. In anticipation for the event, everyone's local comic book stores will be participating in an event simply deemed 'The Dark Knight Rises Day.'"
Dark Horse Brings Danganronpa Manga to the West
"Danganronpa is a critically acclaimed video game series and anime. Did you enjoy Battle Royale? Want to add in a little Phoenix Wright? Then you’ll probably enjoy Danganronpa. Now, Dark Horse Comics has licensed the Danganronpa manga and is bringing it to the US."

SDCC 2015: Greg Pak Presents Magic, Racism and Westerns in Kingsway West
"The award-winning writer Greg Pak (Incredible Hulk, Incredible Hercules, Action Comics) is penning his first original mini-series for Dark Horse Comics. His new series, Kingsway West, will be a blend of the American Old West, magic, monsters and racist vigilantes. Pak also developed a pre-order system for the mini-series that Dark Horse is calling 'revolutionary.'"
