Hello everyone! This week I showcased the Kickstarter for Jen-Jen Rose's popular slice-of-life webcomic 4-Panel Life: THE BOOK. I also kickstarted the long weekend with the Kickstarter for What Lies Inside: The 10th Anniversary Split Lip.
The solicitation for the comic book I'm helping to adapt, Miraculous #5, was also released in Action Lab Entertainment's September 2016 Solicitations.

What Lies Inside: The 10th Anniversary Split Lip
"This week I’m showcasing the Kickstarter for the hardcover What Lies Inside: The 10th Anniversary Split Lip. It was the Best Webcomic winner according to the Horror Comic Awards in 2014. This award-winning anthology has been called "the best horror anthology on the Internet" by Comics Should Be Good. Instead of focusing on grossing you out, Split Lip explores strangeness and being unsettled. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, series creator/writer Sam Costello is releasing a limited addition hardcover, and he’s sharing the weird fiction of Split Lip with me in an interview."

Kiss Me, Satan! #2 Review: Enter Zombie Ninjas
"Kiss Me Satan #2 has vampire maids, werewolves in the mafia and zombie ninjas. If you didn’t catch any of that, this is a comic that isn’t taken itself too seriously. I don’t know why I took this series so seriously in my review of the last issue. There were a few off-the-wall moments, but I didn’t realize how insane this mini-series was trying to be until the zombie ninjas showed up. I guess I should’ve realized it after the angel in the tuxedo… It might not take itself seriously and some characters had names I didn’t even bother to learn, but there are some good moments and fantastic artwork."
New 52 Cancellations in March 2015—Is this the end of the New 52?
"DC has been making a lot of waves since their event, Convergence, was announced. This event will bring DC comic book characters from the 90s, New 52 and pre-New 52 together (if you’re interested in learning more about Convergence, check out Jay’s coverage). Many fans, like myself, thought this event may mark a return to the pre-New 52 Universe and possibly end the New 52. While I would be okay with the New 52 continuing (but the pre-New 52 taking prominence) it looks like the New 52 may be ending."
