Another month has come and gone, but this one marked the first time I ever went to NYCC. I didn't go for fun - though we had some of that too - but to work at the Action Lab booth, selling (and signing) mostly Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and Miraculous Adventures books.
It was awesome to see all of the people cosplaying as Ladybug, Cat Noir and even occasionally Alya and some of the villains from the show. Plus some other amazing cosplay moments from movies, TV shows, video games and more.
Here's some of the awesome Miraculous-related cosplay!
Overall, it was an exhausting experience that was totally worth going outside of my comfort zone and to experience working at a con. I definitely put my feet into the deep end considering the only other con I have ever worked at was one day at the New Jersey Comic Expo... and a two hour signing at SDCC.
If you're still around, here are some releases and articles I helped work on for the month of October!
Hawk Moth continues to terrorize the citizens of Paris by using his akumatized victims to wreak havoc. Ladybug and Cat Noir take on Princess Fragrance, who uses her magical perfumes to brainwash people. Then they face off against Darkblade, who creates his own army of knights and tries to take down City Hall. Finally, the duo spends a day at the zoo fighting Animan, who can shapeshift into any animal he chooses. SPOTS ON, CLAWS OUT! Collects MIRACULOUS #13-15.
