They pay a visit to the small town of Riverdale and get involved with the student government campaigns.Everyone gets along in Riverdale, until Archie and Reggie battle head-to-head to win. Archie claims to be backed by Obama; Reggie; Palin. But are these claims legitimate? This story is still a light-natured comic in the series, and is written by Alex Simmons. He is accompanied by artists Jack Morelli, Dan Parent and Digikore Studios.

Archie Comics Co-CEO Accused of Sexual Harassment
According to The New York Daily News Nancy Silberkleit, the co-CEO of Archie Comics, is being accused of gender discrimination by five of her male employees. Their reports say Silberkleit has been calling her male employees “penis” rather than calling them by their names. The lawyer representing Silberkleit is trying to get the case thrown out on the grounds that white males aren’t a “protected class.”

Archie Comics "Riverdale" TV Show Announced
Archie and friends are getting their own television series, “Riverdale.” This will be a one hour drama based on Archie. It is being produced by Greg Berlanti of Berlanti Productions who is known for his other comic-related television shows Arrow and Flash.

Betty and Jughead Cast in Archie TV Show
It was previously announced that a television show about Archie, named after the titular character’s hometown, Riverdale, will be airing on The CW. The show, produced by Greg Berlanti of Berlanti Productions (Arrow and Flash), has just announced the cast for two of their four main characters.

D'Agostino: Death of an Artist
John P. "Jon" D'Agostino Sr., passed away on November 28th of bone cancer. Jon was a comic book artist that started working in the 1940s as a head colorist at Timely Comics (know now as Marvel Comics). His mentor was the legendary Stan Lee. Jon worked on various titles including Sonic the Hedgehog, The Amazing Spider-man and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. He is best known for his work on Archie Comics. He was always happy to help artists improve their craft.

An "Edgy" New Archie in 2015
Next year Archie will hit its 75th anniversary. To celebrate, Archie comics is resetting the series with issue 1 and a new creative team in 2015. This is just in time for the new Archie television show Riverdale and a new Fashion line based off of the series developed by Marc Ecko. Everything you’ve known about Archie is about to change—Archie is about to get “edgy.”

Eight Archie and IDW Publishing Mash-Up Covers Unveiled
In celebration of their 75th anniversary in 2016, Archie Comics is teaming up with their publishing partner IDW. There will be eight variant covers on IDW Publishing titles in tribute of Archie. Each cover will be drawn by a fan-favorite Archie artist.
